Introduction
Welcome to my pages on Vintage synthesizer restoration. On these pages I aim to have information on synthesizer restoration, links to parts, manuals, schematics and so on. I have been reading electronics sporadically since way back in the 90īs and I always was the kid who fixed my neighbors TV set or VCR. So naturally I started to open up my synthesizers as well and started investigating how these machines worked and what parts they used and so on. My interest in restoring these machines does not stop at getting them back to life, I also like to cosmetically enhance these instruments either back to their original state or to do some custom work on them.
Please feel free to contact me for any reason.
Due to many questions for restoration work I have put together this little FAQ :
I am located in Sweden, I can take on restoration work from abroad only if you are willing to pay for shipping back and forth. All parts and their shipping costs are to be paid by the client. 100% restoration is not guaranteed nor can I guarantee 100% success in getting a synthesizer up and running again if it has been stored away in the attic or basement for too long. I do this on my free time, this is not what I do for a living. I do not run a business or company doing restorations of music equipment and so I can not leave any warranty that the musical equipment will run problem free for any amount of time.
